# Troubleshooting

Roleposting requires the "manage webhooks" permission. **Unless you invited Inconnu after July 2023**, you may need to re-invite the bot to add this permission. To do so, issue the `/invite` command and click the link.

In theory, you don't need to kick the bot before re-inviting; however, if it doesn't work, kick the bot and invite again.

The data retention period is 30 days after **Inconnu** is kicked. In other words, if you kick and re-invite the bot, **this will not delete your players' characters.**
